I used to live in Vancouver. A few years ago my wife and I moved back to Sacramento, for work. I have done a great many interesting things my life. My passions are photography, music, aviation, and an intense interest in the Cold War era. In addition to political science, I teach parent-child model rocketry classes, and I am a level one certified rocketeer in the NAR.

I have three nephews and three nieces. They are a great source of joy in my life. My mother, grandmother, brother and sister-in-law live here Vancouver. My brother-in-law, his wife, and three children live here in the Sacramento area. I grew up in Sacramento, where my brother, wife, and I all graduated from Mira Loma High School. I love to travel. I recently spent some time in the Persian Gulf and London. Next I would like to see some of the Far East, and Germany, when my oldest niece and I have improved our German language skills sufficiently.
